Since the commencement of heavy-load production testing in the crushing section on December 16, 2024, the Bougouni project has concentrated construction efforts to complete the installation of wet screening, dense media separation, and filter press equipment, along with piping and electrical systems, as scheduled. Additionally, the external water supply system was installed ahead of plan, enabling water storage in preparation for production.

 On January 15, after completing the installation of generators, power cables, and safety inspections of the electrical system, the Bougouni power station successfully supplied electricity to all sections of the processing plant for the first time. This initial power delivery preliminarily verified the compatibility and reliability of the power station and mineral processing systems, signifying the completion of the final preparatory step. The project now meets the essential conditions for full-system production testing and feed-in operations.

Gao Junli, Deputy General Manager of Bougouni Mining, outlined key requirements for the production testing phase:

1.Safety First: All personnel must prioritize safety throughout the testing process, ensuring the well-being of themselves and others.

2.Role Transition: The team must adapt to the shift from project construction to production operations.

3.Skill Development: Given the new production system, staff should proactively enhance their operational expertise to swiftly achieve stable and efficient production.
