Occupational Health

The company has established systems such as the Responsibility System for Prevention and Control of Occupational Disease Hazards , Occupational Health and Occupational Disease Prevention Management and Maintenance and Overhaul System for Occupational Disease Protection Facilities in accordance with relevant occupational health laws, regulations, and standards, including the Work Safety Law of the People's Republic of China and the Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China. In order to implement the safety management work, the company continues to complete the company's occupational health and safety management leading group responsibility deployment, optimize internal management processes, improve the safety awareness of employees and operational capacity.

The company organizes physical examination for all employees every year, and carries out pre-employment, in-employment and out-of-employment physical examination for employees in positions exposed to occupational hazards, with the rate of occupational health checkups reaching 100%, and no occupational cases have been found.

Safe production

Hainan Mining adheres to the production safety policy of “Safety First, Prevention Crucial, Comprehensive Management”, and strictly abides by the Production Safety Law of the People's Republic of China and other relevant national laws, regulations and rules, as well as the Guidelines for the Standardization of Safety Specifications for Metallic and Non-Metallic Mines, Guidelines for the Standardization of Safety Specifications for Metallic and Non-Metallic Mines Underground Mines, the Guidelines for the Implementation of Tailings Storage Ponds for Metallic and Non-Metallic Mines, the Guidelines for Safety Risk Prevention and Control of Hazardous Chemicals Manufacturing and Construction Projects (for Trial Implementation), the Safety Code for Special Operations of Hazardous Chemicals Enterprises, and the Safety Procedures for Oil and Gas.The company unremittingly improves its production safety management structure and system standardization, effectively consolidating the foundation of production safety management.

Hainan Mining is well aware of the key role of safety education in improving employees' safety literacy and preventing safety accidents. In 2024, the company and its subsidiary companies carried out diversified safety trainings for personnel in different positions to strengthen the safety awareness and skills of all employees. Hainan Mining also set up a learning organization, established the EHS learning mechanism every Wednesday afternoon, and continuously improved the staff's safety knowledge and management level, a total of 25 EHS learning sessions were organized in 2024. In alignment with special campaigns such as "Work Safety Month," "Occupational Health Awareness Week" ,and "Fire Safety Month", Hainan Mining develop tailored plans to organize training activities including experience sharing, practical drills, and knowledge competitions to continuously enhance employees' safety awareness and strengthen the company's safety foundation.
