On March 19, 20,000 tons of lithium concentrate from the Bougouni Lithium Mine in Mali successfully arrived at SDIC Yangpu Port and completed import declaration under the Zero-Tariff Policy of the Hainan Free Trade Port.

This marks another batch of new energy minerals shipped from the Bougouni Lithium Mine to Hainan, following the successful arrival of the first 30,000 tons of lithium concentrate in mid-January this year. The entire shipment will be supplied to Hainan Xingzhihai New Materials Co., Ltd. for the production and processing of Battery-Grade Lithium Hydroxide.

With two batches of lithium concentrate arriving at the port successively, Hainan Mining's integrated industrial chain in the new energy sector has achieved efficient operation.

At present, the Bougouni Lithium Mine project maintains stable production. All processes, including ore mining and processing, transportation, and port gathering, are progressing in an orderly manner, and the port gathering work for the third shipment of lithium concentrate is currently underway. Meanwhile, the Bougouni Lithium Mine will launch the planning of its Phase II project this year to further consolidate its lithium resource supply capacity.

The capacity release at the downstream lithium salt processing end is also accelerating rapidly. Xingzhihai's lithium hydroxide capacity continues its capacity ramp-up. In January this year, the monthly output of lithium hydroxide from the production line successfully exceeded 1,200 tons. Currently, lithium hydroxide products have achieved sales to domestic customers, and the company is actively promoting overseas market expansion.

To further enhance production line flexibility and market adaptability, Xingzhihai is implementing technical renovation on the carbonation production line. Upon completion of the renovation, the production line will possess the capability for flexible production switching to lithium carbonate.

Leveraging high-quality self-owned mines, advanced high-standard processing production lines, coupled with the cost advantages brought by the preferential tax policies of the Hainan Free Trade Port, Xingzhihai has established strong market competitiveness.
