Since Roc Oil took over the Bajiaochang Project in 2021, the project team has risen to the challenges of tight schedules and heavy operational tasks. Despite a substantial surge in workload and production output, the project has built on its previous safety record of 800 consecutive days, elevating the milestone of consecutive safe production days without lost-time incidents to an impressive 2,500 days.

This outstanding safety performance stems from a combined safety management strategy characterized by systematization, intellectualization, and full staff participation. The project has established a full-process HSE management system and strictly implemented the dual mechanism of hierarchical risk control and hidden hazard investigation and remediation, closing the loop on over 1,000 potential hazards annually. Technological tools serve as the twin engines of "smart safety": online training has reached nearly 7,000 person-times, and electronic approval has been fully implemented for high-risk work permits, boosting approval efficiency by 60%.

In terms of communication, a four-level meeting mechanism and a company-wide safety observation card system have been put in place. Each year, the project receives over 1,000 risk alerts, all of which are rectified with a 100% closure rate. On the cultural front, through themed activities and regular safety training and drills, safety awareness has been ingrained as an instinctive commitment for every team member.

For emergency preparedness, the project adheres to scenario-based emergency drills, conducting more than 12 full-scale practical drills each year. Contractors are integrated into the unified high-standard safety management framework. By implementing grid-based supervision, the project ensures that all managers at every level fulfill their dual responsibilities for both operational performance and safety. Annually, nearly 30 inspections of various types are carried out, identifying and fully rectifying close to 800 hidden hazards, thus forming a robust safety responsibility network.

Standing at the new starting point of 2,500 consecutive days of safe production, Roc Oil will continue to enhance safety awareness across all staff, strengthen safety production management, uphold the principle of "Safety First, Prevention Foremost", and strive for even higher safety goals.
