Mali's Mines Minister Inspects Bougouni Lithium Mine On-Site

On July 31st (local time in Mali), Amadou Keita, Minister of Mines of the Republic of Mali, led a senior technical team to the site of the Bougouni Lithium Mine Project for an in-depth inspection and work guidance.

Accompanied by Gao Junli, Deputy General Manager of the Bougouni Project, Amadou Keita and his delegation conducted a detailed inspection of the core production processes in the mine's mining operation area and the heavy medium concentrator.

Amadou Keita expressed high recognition for the on-site management standards of the project and the positive progress achieved recently. During the inspection, he specifically pointed out that a number of key improvement suggestions previously put forward by Mali's National Directorate of Geology and Mines (DNGM) have been effectively implemented at the project site, which demonstrates the project team's high attention to compliant operations and continuous improvement.

Regarding the next phase of the project's development, Amadou Keita made important instructions and commitments at the on-site work meeting:

Accelerate the approval of export licenses: Mali government will actively promote the Bougouni Lithium Mine Project to complete the relevant approval procedures as soon as possible, ensuring that lithium products smoothly enter the international market.

Prepare for a high-level opening ceremony: Mali government has begun preparations for the opening ceremony of the Bougouni Lithium Mine Project. At that time, the President of the Republic of Mali will personally attend the ceremony to inaugurate this project, which holds great strategic significance for the country's economic development.

Amadou Keita emphasized, "The successful development and efficient operation of the Bougouni Lithium Mine Project are crucial for Mali to realize its mineral industry diversification strategy and economic growth goals. The government will continue to create a favorable environment to support the project in achieving long-term and stable production and creating maximum value for the country."
