From May 18 to 20, Roc Oil and its subsidiary Tethys Oil jointly participated in the Oman International Oil & Gas Energy Exhibition (OPES) held in Muscat, the capital of Oman. As one of the most influential energy industry events in the Middle East, this year's exhibition brought together energy companies, industry experts, and government agencies from around the world to discuss future development trends in the oil and gas sector and opportunities for energy transition.

The exhibition provided an excellent platform for Roc Oil and Tethys Oil to showcase their corporate image and development strategies, reflecting the group's firm confidence in continuing to deepen its presence in Oman's energy market and steadily expand its regional influence. During the exhibition, the two companies highlighted their achievements in oil and gas exploration and development, and engaged in in-depth exchanges with industry partners on topics including technological and managerial innovation, as well as regional collaboration. Tethys Oil currently holds interests in four blocks in Oman. Leveraging the solid industry expertise and full-cycle upstream operator capabilities of its parent company Roc Oil, Tethys has accumulated extensive experience in onshore oil and gas development and demonstrated efficient operational capacity, establishing itself as one of the key international partners in Oman's energy sector.

As of 2025, Tethys Oil's operated blocks in Oman cover a total area accounting for approximately 18% of Oman's national territory, with a strategic focus on high-potential, low-exploration areas on the margins of Oman's major hydrocarbon-bearing basins. Equity production from Blocks 3 and 4 reached 7,600 barrels per day in 2025. Tethys also serves as the operator of Blocks 49, 56, and 58. With the Al Jumd field having commenced production in April 2026, Block 56 has entered commercial production, and a multi-year development drilling campaign is expected to commence from the second to third quarter of 2026.

Tethys Oil was successfully acquired by Roc Oil at the end of 2024, a move that has further strengthened Roc Oil's resource positioning and global development capabilities in the international oil and gas market. Roc Oil stated that Oman offers a stable investment environment, abundant resource potential, and a strong foundation for international cooperation. The company will continue to leverage Oman as a key strategic platform, actively expand into the Middle East and other overseas markets, steadily broaden its international business footprint, and drive its high-quality and sustainable development.
